Cornerstones of communities have become part our regular repertoire. Pan-Pacific has teamed up to help build some great public works projects, community projects and world-class museums. We bring a proactive attitude, technical expertise and sense of pride to all of our projects and this is extremely helpful for community-based projects.

With 100,000 objects dating from ancient times to the present, the Los Angeles County Museum of Art is the largest art museum in the western United States. A museum of international stature as well as a vital part of Southern California, LACMA shares its vast collections through exhibitions, public programs and research facilities that attract nearly a million visitors annually.
LACMA’s seven-building complex is located on 20 acres in the heart of Los Angeles, halfway between the ocean and downtown. Pan-Pacific has worked on many phases, renovations and expansions of this world-class museum over the many years we have been in business.
We have had the pleasure of being involved in the “Transformation” – a ten-year expansion and renovation project designed by the Renzo Piano Building Workshop. The first phase of the project opened in early 2008, introducing an open-air pavilion called the BP Grand Entrance as well as the Broad Contemporary Art Museum, featuring 60,000 square feet of exhibition space on three floors.
We look forward to continuing our record of excellent service for LACMA and its General Contractors for any new work on the horizon.

This five-building, low-rise residential complex houses over 400 veterans and offers skilled nursing and Alzheimer's care. Additionally, this facility offers therapeutic treatment and dental care. With a kitchen and dining hall and food preps on every residence floor, this facility can offer everything our veterans need.
Pan-Pacific lead the way through coordination by extensive use of our considerable 3D/BIM capabilities. These accurate coordinated documents allowed us to prefabricate with precision that greatly reduced field labor and time required.

The Skirball features an extraordinary museum, changing exhibitions, engaging music, theater, comedy, film, family, and literary programs, Zeidler's Café, and Audrey's Museum store, and a new interactive family destination inspired by the Noah's Ark story — all in a stunning architectural setting designed by renowned architect Moshe Safdie. Over 500,000 people visit the Skirball each year. The Skirball's acclaimed school program serves over 50,000 children and teachers annually from public, private, and parochial schools.
Plumbing challenges for this project are typical of museums and theatres. High arched ceilings that can show no evidence of piping or required roof drainage and the silent operation of numerous plumbing facilities that do not disturb the patrons enjoying the exhibits were overcome by our ingenuity and collaboration with the other trades. This coupled with a limited but picturesque site proved a daunting task that with its successful completion became a striking addition to our resume.

The 39,000-square-foot, $18 million Orange Terrace Library and Community Center project was Design-Build and LEED certified. The project includes a 13,600-square-foot library, a 25,400-square-foot community center with banquet and meeting rooms, courtyard and covered picnic area.
This design and conservation of energy and resources earned it a LEED-Silver certification. To earn this certification, Pan-Pacific installed sensor faucets and ultra low-flow urinals and toilets to drastically reduce the water consumption.
